Mellby Atelier is excited to announce its latest theater production, "Where is Gunnar? The Pervasive Collation," set to take place on Mellby Atelier’s theater stage. This play, based on real events and inspired by a piece performed in Stockholm in the 1990s, is being managed by Teater Österlen and promises to be a standout event in the theater scene in Kivik.
The play centers around the enigmatic character Gunnar, but the question remains: is he truly at the center? With a strong and exaggerated self-image, Gunnar questions and criticizes everything, but only when he actually appears in the ensemble’s work. His presence—or lack thereof—poses a constant challenge for the director, who faces the clash between artistic vision and reality. Gunnar is not alone in creating chaos; other forces within the ensemble also contribute to the tumultuous production.
"Where is Gunnar?" will premiere at 7:00 PM on September 27, 2024, on Mellby Atelier’s theater stage and will also be performed on September 28, and October 4, 5, and 6.
